Dandelions are a common sight in Finland’s nature and a plant that deserves more attention. In Finland, dandelions are known to as a gourmet salad green as well as a cleansing and uplifting herbal tea. Simply add some honey and hot water and brew as an herbal tea or add this crush into your smoothie, salad or even a hot pie for additional flavour.
Ingredients: Dandelion leaf. We use high quality, field grown Finnish dandelion leaves, grown without the use of any chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Dried on low temperature. May contain small parts of plant’s stem. Do not use continuously for more than one 1-2 weeks.
As a tea: measure 1 tsp of dandelion leaves to a cup (2 dl) of simmering water and let brew 10–15 min.
