Annika Hannus
Annika’s journey as an entrepreneur started from home made, Finnish, nettle pesto, or more like its absence from Nordic stores.
Her favourite wild herb is nettle. It's so versatile and tasty. She also loves the wood sorrel (ketunleipä), it has certain magic about it growing in the dark mystical forests where Annika loves to wander.
Annika has a master's degree in Food Sciences and she has a passion for Finnish cuisine and developing products from natural and wild Nordic ingredients.
Annika is also an enthusiastic photographer and many of the photos used by METTÄ are her work.
